The objective of this research was to relate burnout, the meaning of life and the lifestyles of the workers of a mining unit in Caylloma, Arequipa. Perú. The study was carried out with a cross- sectional quantitative approach with a simple correlational non-experimental design. The sample was made up of 270 participants, including men (93.7%) and women (6.3%) between the ages of 20 to 64 years. (M=37.3, SD=8.17). In addition, the Burnout Clinical Subtype Questionnaire ( BCSQ-36). Instruments, Purpose In Life for the meaning of life variable and Fantastic for the lifestyle variable, were used, which proved to be valid and reliable. The results showed that there is a weak negative correlation between burnout and lifestyle, while there is a high positive correlation between the meaning of life and healthy lifestyles. Finally, there is a weak negative correlation between burnout and meaning of life. The results will serve as a basis for the implementation of future social programs aimed at well-being and the promotion of healthy lifestyles, developing a meaning of life that will contribute to the prevention of burnout in mining workers who work in atypical shifts in Peru.
