The present research aimed to determine whether resilience and mindfulness predict psychological well-being in migrants residing in Lima. The sample was obtained through non-probabilistic sampling for convenience and was made of 348 migrants of Venezuelan nationality, most of whom had an average age of 35 years, with a higher prevalence of female sex, with a residence time less than 5 years, with regular migratory status and working. Three instruments were used: the Resilience Scale (ER), Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS-5) and the Ryff Shortened Psychological Wellbeing Scale (SPWBA). The results showed that resilience and mindfulness are significant predictors of the perception of psychological well-being. In conclusion, the relevance of internal factors such as resilience and mindfulness in the migrant population is evident, as well as the external protective factors that involve family and community support networks, the migratory regularization that allows access to basic state services and job or entrepreneurship opportunities, which positively and significantly influence their self-perception of psychological well-being, which favors their integration process in the host country.
