The Colca Valley, in addition to its natural reserves, has an immense intangible heritage, reflected in the living culture of its inhabitants. However, conventional tourism developed in the Valley completely excludes the local community, benefiting exclusively private companies. This also puts at risk the preservation of traditions considered cultural heritage of the nation. The project proposed seeks to promote community tourism among visitors and residents of the Valley. Being as a support infrastructure for the development and revaluation of the most important cultural activities of the place, among them textile crafts, ancient agriculture, and typical dances. By exposing the practices and traditions of the inhabitants to the visitors of the Valley, not only the final object is valued, as in a conventional museum, but also the entire traditional process and talent that exists behind, directly involving the community with tourism to grow from its benefits and promote the conservation of the cultural expression of places like this throughout the country. It is intended to use critical Regionalism as a matrix that reinterprets local concepts through contemporary responses, both formal and functional. The main objective of this research consists in rethinking the way in which the tourist infrastructure of rural areas of Peru has been built, proposing an alternative based on a community approach that is in charge of revaluing and protecting the cultural heritage of Peru and its communities
