The purpose of this professional proficiency work is to achieve the improvement in the manufacturing process of suction valves of a metal mechanical company using lean tools: 5S, Poka Yoke and TPM. The Lean Manufacturing model allows detecting and eliminating deficiencies in a process, its correct application being of utmost importance, therefore, for the execution of the proposal in this work of professional proficiency, a series of activities were carried out, starting from an analysis exhaustive, even activities such as time taking, to reach an adequate and effective diagnosis, it is thus that in the company it was determined that the main cause of the production level is due to the disorder of raw materials and tools, inadequate location of machinery , lathe stops and the empirical method of labor. Using these indicators, it is determined that the tools that fit the company's needs are: 5S, TPM and Poka Yoque, methodologies that, when implemented in each workstation, will reduce unnecessary movements, unproductive time and reprocessing. Although the company has highly experienced collaborators, there are no procedures or evaluation criteria to improve productivity, which leads to loss of time and low production. It is for this reason, after an analysis of the data obtained from the information gathering, actions will be taken to correct errors in the workstations and procedures, standards that are opted for by all collaborators, maintenance plans, safety plans will be implemented. cleaning that achieves Improvement in the production process and thus achieves the main objective.
