Introduction: the medical internship is the final stage in the training of a medical student, this document describes 32 clinical cases during the months in mention, in specialty rotations involving a general practitioner, cases that were part of my training as a future Doctoral the National Hospital Madre-Niño San Bartolomé and the Health Center Unidad Vecinal Nº 3. Objective: describe clinical cases and analyze the background of these not only for specialty but also for the impact on public health. Methodology: A descriptive and critical analysis with a non-probabilistic type sampling for convenience, in which more prominent clinical cases are selected for the medicine intern. Main results: 32 clinical cases obtained from the medical records are described, emphasizing the work plan, treatment, and follow-up of these, incorporating images and laboratory results; in addition to adding meaningful reflection on each case. Conclusions: the last stage of the medical student’s training is characterized by putting into practice what we learned in undergraduate, both knowledge and soft skills, however, he is often influenced by the health reality in which he finds himself, thus changing the approach of management and/or treatment.
