Introduction: The concern of companies for the well-being of their employees has become a trend because having satisfied professionals increases the level of commitment and better results. In this sense, study the factors that influence productivity and the appropriate adjustment of employees to the institution it is of great interest for human resources management. Objective: Correlate workplace well-being with organizational commitment in public sector teachers in the Amazon region during the pandemic period. Method: Quantitative approach with a correlational design. The General Work Well-Being Questionnaire and the Organizational Commitment Scale were used in a sample of 121 regular basic education teachers in the public sector, who worked remotely during the years 2020 and 2021. Results: The variables showed a significant positive correlation (r= .266; p< .05) this means that greater well-being at work is greater commitment to the organization. The comparative analysis found there are no significant differences in components of organizational commitment variable according to gender, years of service and regular basic education level at which thy teach. Conclusion: The variables are correlated despite the situations that population went through due to the change in the modality work.
