The present investigation responds to the concern of the author for the design of a Children's Shelter that manages to generate sensory stimuli in children through the foundations of Neuroarchitecture in order to contribute to their physical and emotional improvement, in the district of Baños del Inca , Cajamarca. It should be noted that children's shelters are those that provide shelter to minors who are in situations of neglect, abuse or orphanhood, for this reason the criteria to consider in the design should be optimal in terms of sensory spaces and biophilic design. Currently in the district of Baños del Inca there is no Children's Shelter and children in a state of neglect are transferred to shelters in the city of Cajamarca, where the facilities are not in optimal condition, and the spaces were not designed to accommodate children, adding They are children with emotional problems, and unfortunately due to this they do not present physical or emotional improvement in these shelters. On the contrary, they often increase the problems they already have. The Children's Shelter is proposed in the area of urban expansion, because that indicates the norm; the land is surrounded by nature in all its extremes and has the presence of 17 medium and large size trees, which will be respected and will be part of the design, through which sensory stimuli will be bridged to the sheltered thanks to the design proposal biophilic On the other hand, it must be understood that children are more susceptible to everything that surrounds them, be it colors, sounds, smells, shapes, textures, light, games, etc., so in the whole area these elements will predominate , either in the spaces, in the proposed games and in the visual graphics. The proposal was considered taking into account the regulation, as well as the design guidelines resulting from the analysis of international cases related to the proposal.
