This research proposes the implementation of a supply management system for an egg production and marketing company in Metropolitan Lima. Chapter 1 presents the concepts used in relation to supply management, as well as the background. In Chapter 2, a systematic review of the data on commercial activities recorded during September 2022 to August 2023 is carried out, where it is found that the company does not have a clear supply policy or an optimal ordering system, which translates into a high level of wastage due to product expiration. It is worth mentioning that this is also due to a deficient inventory policy and the lack of forecasts and demand analysis. In Chapter 3, the presentation of a plan to implement an inventory management system considering demand forecasting, the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model and ABC method is deployed. Thus, during the implementation of industrial engineering tools, it is possible to demonstrate that it is possible to generate savings of approximately 3.5 million soles. Finally, the results of the financial analysis show positive NPV and IRR indicators, which demonstrate that the project is viable for implementation.
