In this professional proficiency work, the importance of carrying out a study of soil mechanics (in sandy soils) in an industrial sector of the Chilca district south of Lima is explained in a didactic manner, with the purpose of knowing how to interpret, correlate the soil properties and resistance parameters. The purpose of the work is to serve as an initial technical reference for any project that is intended to be located in this part of the Chilca district, since due to the studies carried out, the predominant stratigraphic profile of the terrain is fine sand and fine silty sand, granular materials that In principle they are suitable to be able to build and serve as support material, but first the necessary studies and tests must be carried out to know their properties and be able to build safely and reduce the latent vulnerability of all terrain. A microzoning of the industrial sector of the Chilca district under study will be created and some resistance parameters such as the N of the SPT will be correlated with some geophysical values.
