Globally, according to IDB statistics, they show that the logistics market has a size ofn $9,833.8 billion in 2022 and is expected to reach $16,794.7 billion in 2032, with a growth of 5, 6 %. For this reason, it is proposed to improve operations in a transport company by optimizing the shipping process using lean manufacturing to increase the company's productivity by reducing late deliveries. To do this, it is necessary to develop an effective delivery programme that reduces delivery delays and aligns the loading of each vehicle to its destination so that delivery is ensured on time. Using process tools such as linear programming, VSM and DAP to analyze and eliminate waste, demand analysis and forecasting, EOQ to perform inventory management to enable us to calculate the ideal order size, minimizing the associated total costs. On the other hand, MRP helps us to develop a master delivery planning and linear scheduling to level vehicle loads and finally optimise routes with a simple algorithm to reduce transport costs. Sales amount to S/8,272,726.00, and penalties represent 5.9 % of turnover, being S/488,363.00 which refers to penalties for delays for not delivering on time. The company's current metrics were calculated as an on-time delivery percentage of 69.2%. by implementing the tools for the improvement process, the compliance level indicators increase from 69.2% to 79.4%.
