The knowledge of the position of a certain object or user nowadays solves an infinite number of needs and allows the development of new technological tools in the labor market. From developing a car that can drive autonomously, or monitoring the positioning of a submarine, to even in sports, it is useful to know and monitor the position in real time. This work responds to a commercial need in the field of Telecommunications; it proposes a solution for tracking technical personnel by GPS in their daily work throughout the protocol of preventive or corrective maintenance, through a mobile application based on algorithms and Python language, which can be shared in a SharePoint list and this in turn can be consumed in a PowerBI dashboard. Previous research was conducted on how NGSS and different positioning systems are currently handled, how nowadays mobile devices have the ability to be NGSS receivers and what variables affect the position accuracy. Through python's Geopy library it is possible to obtain position coordinates and choose the NGSS system to be used, for the present work the GPS was chosen.
