The research work was carried out within an industrial footwear company in metropolitan Lima, where the objective was to increase order fulfillment by reducing time in the sanding and assembly area. To achieve this, it was necessary to implement some Lean Manufacturing tools such as 5S, TPM and SMED in relation to the PDCA Cycle. First, the background of the project was presented, visualizing the main problem which not only occurs in our country, but also at a global level. Following this, within the theoretical framework, the concepts of the tools used were presented. In the second and third chapters, the problem of organization is evident with the help of industrial engineering tools. In addition, the technical gap and economic impact are calculated. As an important part of the project, the relevant reasons and causes of low compliance are broken down, resulting in a high setup time, obstruction of the sanding machine due to incorrect cleaning and, finally, incorrect organization of supplies in the work area. Finally, there is the validation of the project, where we analyze the results. There was a reduction in the time used to organize the sanding area by 31.44% and in the setup time for the assembly machine by 50% and the OEE percentage increased by 22%. Regarding the main problem, there was an 24% increase in order fulfillment. We conclude that our proposal is economically viable and can be replicated in similar organizations.
