This document delves into the issue of low inventory turnover within a metal-mechanical sector company, whose competitive edge is rooted in logistical costs, with inventories standing as the most prominent component. The diminished turnover rate is the consequence of multifaceted factors, predominantly stemming from substantial procurement volumes and insufficient oversight of input and output, culminating in surplus supplies, escalated storage expenditures, and immobilization of inventories, each encapsulated by a monetary value that is rendered non-functional. Consequently, it is imperative to explore solutions to rectify this quandary. By implementing Lean Manufacturing techniques and Inventory Management strategies, the proposition entails amalgamating the fundamental principles of both methodologies and warehouse processes to enhance the turnover of resources. This methodology entails employing practices aimed at eliminating waste associated with non- value-adding activities, whereas Inventory Management delineates parameters to uphold an optimal stock level. The company under scrutiny specializes in the manufacture and retail of copper-based products and has encountered warehouse-related challenges resulting in decreased inventory turnover. Through the aforementioned techniques, there was a discernible enhancement in inventory record precision from 93% to 97%, while the ratio between consumption and purchases escalated from 34% to 54%. In conclusion, the input turnover index ascended from 4.98 to 5.30 times, aligning with national benchmarks.
