On a global level, organizations in the mining sector stand out for improving their competitiveness through different methods, among them we have the use of lean Manufacturing, this tool helps us discard functions that do not contribute to the production process in search of techniques that combine efficiency, flexibility and quality based on concepts such as VSM, flowchart, design, DAP among others, always seeking continuous improvement. At the local level we are a company specialized in the sector. With respect to increasing productivity in the warehouse, our main interest is to avoid shortages of inputs and supplies and thus reduce plant production stoppages. It has a warehouse, as observed, with a lack of control when the merchandise is received and a lack of workers in the warehouse. If the company had not taken the problem into account, they would continue with warehouse shortages, causing production stoppages.
