The present work of professional sufficiency has the objective of analyzing two files, one of private law and the other of public law. In this sense, it will be determined if the resolutions that resolve these legal controversies are issued according to our legal system, respecting the rights and procedures duly established. On the other hand, the private file deals with a civil proceeding, in which a spouse files for divorce on the grounds of de facto separation and requests a judicial declaration of the dissolution of the marital relationship, as well as the cessation of the payment of the alimony obligation with the defendant. In this sense, from the analysis of the file, four relevant legal points can be noticed regarding the adequate notification of the claim, the declaration of default, the determination of the alimony to the defendant and the compensation in family law, in divorce proceedings. On the other hand, the public file deals with an administrative sanctioning procedure followed by the Association of Indignant Consumers against the Restaurant “Rosa Náutica“, in which the existence of an unjustified different treatment and discrimination in the consumption towards women is discussed, since the letters delivered to them, unlike those delivered to men, did not contain the prices of the products. Likewise, the existence of information asymmetry and the alleged violation of the right to due process are evaluated. On this basis, it is analyzed whether the sanction imposed is reasonable.
