The medical internship is the last stage of professional training in the medical career where interns acquire practical experience in the hospital. During this period, interns work under supervision, participate in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, and acquire fundamental clinical skills for professional development. I had the opportunity to perform my internship at the Ate Vitarte Emergency Hospital and the "Bethania" health center for a period of 10 months. Objective: To describe and analyze relevant clinical cases attended during my medical internship. Methodology: Descriptive observational study of clinical cases of patients attended at the Ate Vitarte Emergency Hospital and "Bethania" health center. Results: description of 30 clinical cases observed during the medical internship at the Ate Vitarte Emergency Hospital and "Bethania" health center. Conclusions: the time spent during the internship at the Emergency Hospital Ate Vitarte and health center "Bethania" were rewarding since I acquired new practical and theoretical knowledge. I learned to treat patients instead of diseases. In addition, I learned to understand the way people think about illnesses, seen from a non-medical point of view. I consider that it was an excellent preparation for my future professional life.
