In this report, the production process of an adhesive tape company was analyzed to identify the main problem presented in this process and to be able to determine a solution, Industrial Engineering tools were applied, such as Lean Manufacturing, Ergonomic Workstation, among others. In order to develop this research, it was necessary to consult previous studies in order to substantiate everything that will be raised during the realization of this document. The main problem of the aforementioned process was evaluated, which was the delay of orders caused by unscheduled shutdowns such as faults in production machines and inadequate management of operations such as non-compliance with process standardization, workstation disorder and inadequate workstation design. Subsequently, through analysis of studies, properly supported scientific articles and/or research prior to the one being developed, the appropriate engineering tools are selected to mitigate the impact of the reasons that generate the problem. Finally, the impact of the implementation of the selected tools will be evaluated through the use of a simulation software, Arena Simulator, and the application of a pilot program, in order to be able to evaluate the results obtained and identify the benefits in terms of performance and in the economic field that could be generated to the organization if it decides to implement, in a complete and precise way, the tools that have been established.
