The objective of the research is to determine the psychometric properties of the "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Positive Identity Measure" (LGB-PIM) scale in a group of LGBT people from Peru. Likewise, the sample consisted of 200 people, with an age range of between 18 and 46 years. Among sexual orientation responses, 11% lesbian, 38% gay, 45% bisexual, 4.5% pansexual, 1% asexual, and 0.5% queer. Regarding the results of the AFC, the fit indices obtained reached acceptable values (χ² = 584, gl = 262, CFI = .90, RMSEA = .0784, SRMR = .0688); and the range of factor loadings was from .42 to .93. Reliability through the omega coefficient for each of the dimensions: self-awareness .90; authenticity .85; community .89; privacy .87 and social justice .87. It is concluded that the scale has demonstrated adequate psychometric properties in the study sample.
