In recent years, a steady increase in global fertilizer consumption has been evident, a trend that is also reflected in Peru's agricultural industry. Nevertheless, it is important to note that fertilizer use in Peru is significantly below the standard recommended by ONU. While the recommendation is around 204 kilograms per agricultural hectare, consumption in Peru stands at around 128 kilograms per hectare, a gap that is crucial to address. The analysis of this disparity has been conducted within the framework of the Peruvian agricultural market, with the aim of identifying the underlying causes of this issue and consequently enhancing the adoption of fertilizers in the nation. The study has determined that the primary issue is in the centralized structure of the fertilizer trade in Lima, along with the restricted importation of organic fertilizers. The aforementioned elements exert a direct influence on the accessibility of fertilizers inside the nation. In light of the aforementioned issue, an innovative approach is proposed: the creation of an organic fertilizer supply chain model, based on the SCOR methodology. This model aims to overcome the uncertainties associated with the availability of organic fertilizers in Peru. It is anticipated that the implementation of this plan will lead to enhancements in both operational expenses and profitability for all stakeholders within this supply chain. The economic feasibility of the project is substantiated by the examination of four financial indicators, leading to a favorable economic endorsement of the suggested methodology. Finally, the project not only seeks to improve economic efficiency, in addition, it is crucial to prioritize the sustainability and long-term viability of the fertilizer supply chain., which positions it as a comprehensive and promising solution in contrast to the current situation.
