The purpose of this work is to analyze the problematic situation presented by the billing area of the Costamar Travel company and propose three alternative solutions. To this end, it is proposed to unify the four systems into one for billing, in addition, the redesign of processes and quality policies is proposed to reduce billing time, and it is also proposed to implement training programs for employees involved with the system. The objective is to make the process and policies of the area clear. The methodology used is qualitative, review of the literature, careful observation of the billing process, compilation of company information and in-depth interviews with the accountant, billing manager and specialists in the area. The results indicate that the year-over-year increase in the number of payment receipts issued for sales is causing errors, delays and greater uses of material, financial and human resources. In this case study work, we conclude the need to unify the four systems into one to issue payment receipts because this generates greater operational efficiency, user satisfaction and business profitability. Furthermore, it is concluded that the solution is feasible and viable to implement because Costamar Travel has the necessary resources and complies with the technical rigor requested by management.
