The focus of this work is improving the productivity management to reduce delays in the deliveries of the orders by implementing Lean Manufacturing tools in a melamine furniture factory. The specific problem is addressed in the areas of cutting and edge area, where productivity was at 73.6%, considerably below the optimal percentage of 83% in the manufacturing sector, generating an economic loss of 864,277.88 soles. The main objective was to identify the underlying causes of this problem and propose solutions that would increase productivity. Improving cleanliness and order in work areas, as well as controlling production flow to meet demand, were identified as the main causes. To address these problems, the implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools, such as Kanban and 5S, was proposed with the aim of reducing or mitigating the identified causes. According to the analysis carried out, it is concluded that productivity increased from 2.5 to 3.6, demonstrating that the measures adopted have been effective in improving efficiency and punctuality in the delivery of products. In addition, an economic and financial impact evaluation was carried out, concluding that the project is viable and profitable for the company.
