The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of mining waste as a partial replacement for fine aggregate in the production of wet shotcrete. Laboratory tests, material and concrete tests will be carried out to determine the optimum dosage for its application. The processes, methods and techniques; will consist of practicing tests incorporating mining tailings in percentages of 0%, 10%, 15% and 20% respectively in the mix dosage of the sprayed concrete mix for a f'c = 280 kg/cm2, analysed in 2 cylindrical specimens of 15 cm in diameter by 30 cm high per treatment. In order to carry out this process, a standard sample was prepared without the addition of mine tailings, in order to compare this sample with the aforementioned added percentages, performing compressive strength and flexural strength tests at 3, 7 and 28 days respectively. Setting time tests were also carried out on the sprayed concrete to evaluate the influence of the tailings on the concrete mix in different proportions of tailings added. The data obtained from the laboratory tests indicate that it is possible to obtain shotcrete with the addition of mining tailings as a partial replacement of the fine aggregate. The 28-day compressive strength tests show an optimum result of f'c= 335.9 kg/cm2, corresponding to 15% of the partial replacement of the dosage carried out. Finally, the results obtained in the laboratory led us to conclude that, if mining waste could be used to produce the projected concrete, it would make a significant environmental, social and labour contribution at Minera Bateas.
