Materials and methods: The study design is observational, analytical and cross-sectional. Two instruments were used, "Level of indifference to dental treatment" with 8 questions (cronbach α 0.71) and Dentist Confidence Scale with 11 questions (cronbach α 0.92). The application and sending of the survey was through digital platforms. For the descriptive analysis, median and interquartile range were used, and for qualitative variables absolute and relative frequency were used. For bivariate analysis, the Kruskal Wallis test was to associate indifference to dental treatment with quantitative variables; and the Chi-square test, indifference to dental treatment with qualitative variables. To associate the level of indifference to dental treatment and trust in the dentist, Poisson regression with variance robustness was used. Results: High level of indifference to dental treatment was found in participants aged 19 to 29 years, a mean level of indifference to dental treatment were mostly of female sex (55.56%), did not attend a dental check-up for more than 5 years (76.47%), did not have any confidence towards their last dentist (71.43%) and if they avoid going to the dentist (62.96%).
