The present research work addresses the analysis of a problem in the production area of a textile company, with the aim of increasing the punctuality in the delivery of orders. An assessment of the evidence, impact, and causes of the problem was carried out. The theoretical section is presented with the purpose of facilitating the understanding of concepts, including the description of the company, the context of the problem, and the solution through the use of engineering tools, such as process standardization and the reorganization of the raw material warehouse. According to the literature review, it is emphasized that the indicator of orders delivered on time should exceed 90%, while the company currently records an indicator of 84.42%. Therefore, it is necessary to improve this indicator. To address this, a pilot plan was implemented, involving the organization of the raw material warehouse and the introduction of formats for better control and record-keeping. A time study, before and after the improvement, revealed an increase in the indicator to 92%. This result demonstrates that the implemented tools are effective in improving the process and contributing to the fulfillment of key indicators.
