Quality, essential in a competitive world, guarantees the reliability and robustness of products/services. Its correct application generates offerings that meet customer expectations. Over time, intuitive approaches and rigorous methodologies for assuring product/service quality have been explored in the business community, addressing both intuition and systematization. In the 1970s, Philip Crosby introduced the innovative “Zero Defects“ model, focused on achieving high quality from the first attempt. When applied correctly, this approach generates positive impacts on an organization, requiring leadership from top management to cement a culture of improvement at all levels. In this case, the context and processes of a company in the metal-mechanical sector are examined, considering the successful implementation of a quality model based on ISO 9001:2015 in the project: Design, manufacture and supply of a conveyor belt, meeting the requirements demanded by the customer. The first chapter will analyze the background and theoretical framework of the project, establishing the necessary context. The second chapter will address the current problems of the organization, while the third chapter will present the engineering proposal to solve these problems. Finally, the fourth chapter will focus on presenting and analyzing the results obtained from the execution of the model, thus completing the project cycle in an integral manner.
