In the district of Huarmaca, province of Huancabamba, Piura region. In the municipal stadium there is a problem of overturning in the cantilevered concrete walls, since, due to the presence of silty clay of low plasticity in slope for construction of cantilevered walls, in the municipal stadium “Ramon Castilla“, in the district of Huarmaca. In view of this problem, a design of a mechanically stabilized soil wall with geotextiles is proposed in order to stabilize a silty clay slope of low plasticity. Likewise, to carry out this design calculation we proceeded to review the EMS, the technical file in which we found the necessary parameters of the soil and fill material, Mechanically Stabilized Soil (MSE), the height of the wall and the geotextile data, according to the technical specification provided by the company PAVCO warvin. Obtaining these previous data, we proceeded to the design and calculation of the mechanically stabilized earth wall design reinforced with geotextile, respecting the procedure indicated in the book FUNDAMENTALS OF GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING by the author Braja, which indicates the verification of internal and external stability. After the results obtained, the requirements for the design have been fulfilled, but in the comparative, it is visualized that for all the proposed widths it does not comply, for this reason the results obtained for different wall widths and different heights should be analyzed.
