The present research aims to develop an innovative project applied to women's underwear that utilizes the advancements of copper thread to prevent the proliferation of vaginal infections in pregnant women through the development of an intimate apparel collection. The methodology used will be based on the Design Thinking approach, and it will address the health concerns of pregnant women in Lima, Peru, from the perspective of fashion design. The goal of such a collection is to transcend the primary function of clothing to become a reflection of the stories and experiences intrinsic to the gestation process. By using suitable materials and a design inspired by nature, it is expected that each garment will evoke a sense of connection with the vital process and with the natural environment that surrounds the woman.
