Currently, MYPES that make clothing in Peru face the challenge of maintaining their competitiveness and permanence in the market; compared to countries with a strong local and international presence such as China, India, among others, which, added to the high fluctuation of the market, force us to search for and develop techniques that help optimize the use of resources and improve the efficiency and management of resources. critical processes. A relevant factor for the growth of MYPE is the credibility and trust that can be established with customers, which is why maintaining a high level of service and product quality is key to increasing sales and building customer loyalty. The proposed model has been developed in order to reduce and/or eliminate some problematic factors such as the difficulty in adequately managing and controlling inventories, the storage of items, stock levels, the order and cleanliness of work areas, among others. Therefore, this study develops a continuous improvement model through the use of Lean Warehouse methodology tools such as ABC analysis, 5S, FIFO inventory, cycle counting and supplier approval with the aim of increasing the level of service. To validate and quantify the results of the model, a pilot test was carried out in the finished products warehouse, with which it was determined that the service level of the case under study increased from 73.04% to 95.70%.
