The topic of this article is based on the implementation of strategies to optimize the service of users of the public electricity service through Call Center, since this type of telephone attention during the confinement due to COVID 19 was significant to maintain communication between company and customer. However, due to this fortuitous event, certain deficiencies in the services were revealed that, together with other factors, caused the Call Center to have a negative result in terms of user satisfaction. The case presented below seeks to demonstrate the interest in understanding in greater depth the management carried out in the Call Center of the electric company during the COVID 19 pandemic, since as mentioned, this medium was one of the pillars in most of the companies that offer their products and/or services. Therefore, from an administrative perspective, it is gratifying to know that the theories seen in class such as Foda, Ishikawa, queuing theory and the comparative analysis of those alternative solutions are applied in a leading company in the sector and these are important for decision-making, in order to ensure the quality of service so that the user is satisfied. The study concludes that when addressing the causes of customer dissatisfaction through different alternatives, other complementary measures should be taken into account in order to improve both customer and internal quality.
