The textile industry in Peru is one of the most important non-primary manufacturing industries. Companies in this sector have a non-compliance with orders, defective products or excess waste. This investigation will cover the problem of non-compliance with orders and will be solved using the Work Standardization application and Lean Manufacturing tools such as TPM and SMED. As part of the cross-cutting proposal, Kotter's eight-step model of change management will be used. Through these tools, in order to validate our proposal and our results, a pilot plan will be developed verifying that each of the steps and components of the improvement are set. The presence of this problem in a company in the sector that allows the model to improve the rate of production and competitiveness will be analyzed. The change management implementation was successful, as the results of a survey before and after implementation were compared. The predisposition to change increased by 61%. The standardization of work improved the production process. Production time was reduced by 16%. In addition, the defective product rate was reduced by 8%. On the other hand, the general OEE of the company increased by 4%, which places it in a competitive framework. Finally, setup time decreased by 11%.
