The construction of public works in Peru is in a process of change and adaptation to the BIM system due to the “Peru BIM Plan” standard, which has led companies to encounter problems in the construction processes since many of them do not They are just adapting to this technology. To address this, the main objective of this professional proficiency work is to evaluate and create a BIM methodological guide for a specific project in the northern part of the country, specifically the work of longitudinal dikes in the Quebrada Corrales, department of Tumbes. We seek to improve execution times and improve the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the project, providing a complete implementation guide so that it can be migrated from a traditional construction process to one that does have the BIM methodology implemented. For which, through surveys, investigations and also the collection of information on the work, it led us to the proposal of a detailed methodological guide as it adds what is necessary for the BIM methodology to be applied correctly within the project. To validate the implementation methodological guide, a Focus Group was used with BIM experts participating in the project and through their judgment the validation of the implementation flowchart and its feasibility of application in the project was carried out, with which the reduction could be achieved. of interferences, RFIs and therefore improvements in execution times.
