Abstract: El presente trabajo realiza un análisis exhaustivo del cortometraje titulado “El ave que habita en mí“, el cual tiene una duración de ocho minutos. La trama se centra en Catalina, la protagonista de la historia, quien intenta escribir una carta de despedida. Sin embargo, en su camino se enfrenta a una serie de obstáculos que dificultan su objetivo. En este proyecto, se desarrollaron estrategias narrativas y propuestas en el lenguaje audiovisual que contribuyeron a transmitir las emociones planteadas por el director. El objetivo de este cortometraje es que el espectador pueda sentir empatía por la protagonista. Para analizar la obra audiovisual, este texto se divide en tres capítulos que permiten desglosar y comprender a profundidad sus fundamentos. En primer lugar, se encuentra el análisis de la narrativa audiovisual; luego, el análisis del lenguaje audiovisual; y, por último, el análisis de las técnicas y tecnologías empleadas en las tres etapas de realización.
This work carries out an exhaustive analysis of the short film titled “The bird that lives in me“, which has a duration of eight minutes. The plot focuses on Catalina, the protagonist of the story, who tries to write a farewell letter. However, on her way she faces a series of obstacles that make her goal difficult. In this project, narrative strategies and proposals were developed in audiovisual language that contributed to transmitting the emotions raised by the director. The objective of this short film is for the viewer to feel empathy for the protagonist. To analyze the audiovisual work, this text is divided into three chapters that allow for a breakdown and in-depth understanding of its foundations. Firstly, there is the analysis of the audiovisual narrative; then, the analysis of audiovisual language; and, finally, the analysis of the techniques and technologies used in the three stages of realization.
