Fundraising is one of the main recurring activities of any non-profit organization, as it is the core for carrying out its social mission. Therefore, a slow or even poor fundraising strategy leads to difficulties for these organizations to continue with their purposes. This business case addresses the current problem of lack of resources in the non-profit organization Voz Animal Perú, mainly related to two variables identified in the development of this case: (i) strategic alliances and (ii) organizational performance. To analyze the origin of the problem and its implications in the fulfillment of the mission, interviews were conducted within the organization, consolidating the findings, together with external analysis, through the use of management tool such as: (i) Ishikawa Diagram, (ii) Pareto Principle and (iii) Cross SWOT Matrix. In addition, for the development of alternatives, importance/urgency criteria were used together with an advantage/disadvantage matrix, to comparatively analyze the alternatives, and find an effective solution with achievable indicators of: (i) feasibility, (ii) impact, (iii) costs and (iv) deadlines. Therefore, according to the results, it is concluded that the best solution to the current lack of resources for Voz Animal Perú is to implement a short-term joint alternative that includes: (i) developing alliances with local companies, (ii) cooperating with stakeholders - veterinarians and (iii) developing a plan for volunteer recruitment.
