The main problem that mining company ABC has during the process of purchasing gold ore from artisanal miners is not having accurate information in real time, not only regarding to the batch of mineral they buy, but also regarding the rejected lots. In this process, certain characteristics of the mineral are validated, these are important to guarantee the quality of the final product to obtain greater profits. The lack of knowledge and delay of that information harms the plant area since good production planning cannot be carried out. This professional work presents a web application for the mining company, which was designed and developed as a fix to the problem of information management in the process of collecting and purchasing gold ore. The web application was developed in Java language and has the main modules of Batch Registration, Validation of laboratory results, Pre settlement and Batches to plant sending. During the six months that the development of the application lasted, we worked together with users to carry out quality tests, resulting in a reduction in the time it takes for a batch of mineral to be registered until it is approved and paid for. In conclusion, this reduction in time benefits both the company since it can now plan its production better, and the miner since it does not have to wait as long until its mineral is evaluated and accepted.
