The present work of professional sufficiency presents a proposal to increase availability in a construction aggregates company by implementing autonomous maintenance, preventive maintenance and 5s, reducing downtime between failure and the average time to repair, which helped to improve availability from 76% to 90.8%, increasing the company's profitability. The first chapter explains the background of the project in the construction sector at a global and national level, and explains the theoretical framework such as autonomous maintenance, maintenance and the 5s tool. In the second chapter, the problems of the company Consultores y Contratistas Generales GUMA SAC are analyzed, finding the technical gap and the economic impact of the problem, analyzing the causes of this problem, and thereby planning the objectives. The third chapter presents the proposal for the implementation of autonomous maintenance, preventive maintenance and 5s, as a solution to the problem, designing measurement indicators and considerations. Finally, in the fourth chapter, the implementation proposal is validated through a pilot plan, evaluating the economic and non-economic impact.
