A few years ago, the target organization of this project, which is a company in the retail sector, managed the lifecycle of products or styles in independent modules that did not connect to each other in real time and, moreover, they were installed in the remote desktops of the end users because in order to the proper functioning of the modules, the users needed to be connected in a suitable environment through a VPN. Due to this way of information management, essential processes within the company, such as product evaluation or communication of important product changes, were hampered. For this reason, the team carried out the analysis, design, and development of an integration solution for the individual modules which consists of a web system with different modules of easy and interactive accessibility for the users. The main purpose of this project is the development of a web system that consists of different modules that allow managing product data efficiently, in real time and with better interaction with users. The developed system has the functionalities already known by the users in the individual systems, therefore, the familiarization of the handling of the new system was not an inconvenience. In addition, the new modules are accessed through the roles granted to users, which restricts access to data to unauthorized users. The importance of this solution is focused on improving the product lifecycle management, the system accessibility for the users and the information synchronization time between the modules.
