The main function of antidumping measures is to limit imports to products that enter the national territory with dumping price and have negative effect on the national industry (OMC, s.f.b). And Peru isn´t an exception in the implementation of this measure; in fact, one of the most affected items is textiles industries (Tafur, 2015). But, the use of antidumping has come to have results beyond a limitation, it has managed to totally restrict the imports of certain products and affecting different foreign and national companies (Staiger & Wolak, 1992), Given this, this thesis seeks to know the repercussions of antidumping on imports of zippers and their parts in the year 2021. That´s why, it has been considered to analyze different preliminary and emerging categories such as: (i) antidumping, (ii) the imports and (iii) the product. Establishing different specific objectives and analyzing the coincidences with the hypotheses developed. A non-experimental exploratory qualitative study was used in the research. 15 unstructured interviews were conducted with importers, producers and specialists on the subject. Showing very outstanding results on the different participants, with differences in the results being divided by importers, national producers and the Peruvian economy. For this, different conclusions and finally recommendations of the developed case were raised.
