This work of professional sufficiency is carried out within the context of the Occupational Safety and Health area of the specialized company AESA Infraestructura y Minería, through the evaluation and analysis of risk in the change of the support process with mechanical bolts of greater resistance for the new preparation tasks, in depth levels, of the areas assigned to the specialized company. This work proposes to carry out a risk analysis in the new support process with mechanical helical bolts, replacing the Swellex inflatable bolts, in the preparation work, as is the case of the ramps developed by the specialized company AESA. This replacement in the type of mechanical bolt used is the result of a geomechanical evaluation carried out on the preparation work at deepening levels where a type of bolt with resistance characteristics greater than those offered by those previously used is required. Part of the change process in updating the type of support requires work that ranges from the initial identification of hazards, risk assessment and establishment of controls. To achieve this baseline evaluation, this work proposes the application of the Bow Tie methodology as a technique for the analysis of risk generated by said implementation in the face of current change management. This model will allow the loss of stability of the rock mass to be established as an undesired event, such as stability failure in the crown, gables, gables, roof box and floor box, in the preparation work, analyzing the causes for which said event is triggered. ; which through the development of the Bow Tie technique within its evaluation diagram, preventive controls, preventive critical controls, mitigating controls and mitigating critical controls will be established. The effectiveness of these controls ends with verification through the use of a safety management tool applied in the field to the helical bolt support process. Critical control verification allows, within verification periods, how effective a critical control turned out to be; as well as identifying which control failures are developing in order to avoid a complete failure of the critical control, which would trigger an unwanted event.
