Currently, the state of Peru is seeking an efficient, contemporary, and responsive government that prioritizes citizen services. In this context, the present study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the administrative efficiency of a work team in a public institution responsible for administering justice at the national level. The team consists of actors with jurisdictional tasks who require administrative support to deliver high-quality services. This study examines the challenges experienced by a work team responsible for providing administrative support to the jurisdictional function. Factors that impede the achievement of departmental objectives will be identified, allowing for the advancement of institutional strategic goals. Likewise, this study proposes and evaluates alternative approaches for enhancing the administrative efficiency of the work team, based on administration theories, the regulations within the Public Sector's Human Resources Management System, and relevant background information. Furthermore, this study provides a justification for the chosen alternative, which suggests feasible and effective actions to enhance administrative management that can be replicated across various areas of public administration.
