This research focuses on improving compliance with deliverables in engineering projects for mining consulting companies in Lima, Peru. The research focuses on the application of the “Last Planner System“ (LPS) methodology as an effective solution to address the identified problem. Through surveys of project managers and validation of the methodology in the company referenced in the research, challenges were identified in the programming of activities, where compliance with deliverables in mining projects was less than 50%. The successful implementation of the methodology in a specific project demonstrated a substantial increase in the fulfillment of deliverables, reaching 63% in the Percentage of Program Completed (PPC). The conclusions highlight improving planning, communication, and promoting staff development. The recommendations derived from this study offer solid guidance for optimizing project management in mining consulting companies, improving client satisfaction and project delivery success. It is recommended to invest in advanced planning tools, lessons learned reports, encourage effective communication between the project team and clients, evaluate and learn from results, and promote staff training and development. These actions can contribute to more effective project management in mining consulting companies, improving compliance with deliverables and customer satisfaction.
