The construction of multifamily housing in Peru, compared to the last years, has shown a notorious growth giving rise to the need to take advantage of the spaces to the maximum, due to this; the realization of basements is becoming more and more common in the city of Lima. This has presented the challenge of being able to support slopes in the face of massive vertical excavations with boundaries that adjoin existing buildings. To guarantee safety in this process, the use of walls anchored by means of temporary post-tensioned anchors is the most used alternative. Therefore, in the present investigation, an evaluation of the slope stability of the Midtown project will be carried out using the limit equilibrium method and the finite element method to determine the behavior of the anchored wall system.
