Green cosmetics has emerged as a result of new consumer behaviors, due to environmental problems that are being generated around the world. In this sense, the demand for green products will be on the rise and the personal care sector, a massive sector of scale, has chosen to join this trend in recent years. From this, the increase in the market share of green cosmetic products has been generated, being of great interest to those consumers who intend to take care of the environment, but at the same time their health, since they recognize that cosmetics green is more beneficial for them; therefore, they are also willing to pay a little more to purchase such products. For this reason, the investigation of this article will analyze the relationship between credibility, environmental knowledge and environmental attitude in the purchase intention to green cosmetics. The study will be carried out with a survey of 400 women between the ages of 20 and 35, who reside in Metropolitan Lima, and who have consumed green cosmetic products at least 3 times a year. Responses will be measured on a Likert scale from 1 to 5, where 1 is “strongly disagree“ and 5 is “strongly agree.“ Likewise, the characteristics that will be applied will be a correlational, cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach. Finally, a statistical model of structural equations (SEM) will be used and the data will be processed through the SPSS AMOS Software.
