This work was proposed with the objective of determining the effect of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the United States on non-traditional Peruvian exports to the main destinations during the period 2001-2021. For this, the Tinbergen (1962) gravitational model has been used and a static panel model with random effects has been used with data from 2001 to 2021 with data on Peruvian non-traditional exports (agriculture, fishing sector, textile, chemical, metalworking, wood and paper) from a sample of ten countries. The results reflect the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the United States has a positive effect on Peruvian non-traditional exports to the main destinations (P < 0.05) with an average effect of $107 million on the FOB value of these exports. On the other hand, no impact of the COVID-19 period was observed in the relationship between said FTA and Peruvian non-traditional exports. Similarly, it was found that the GDP of the importing countries had an effect on the country's non-traditional exports, while the distance between its ports with Peru has a contractionary impact (P < 0.05).
