This project proposes the design of a seismic monitoring system for the automatic shutdown of critical processes in a paint factory based on a network of triaxial accelerographs equipped with telemetry to transmit the flow of seismic data in real time via seedLink protocol to a system data acquisition based on Python and web technology for information processing and display. The problem being attempted to be solved is to automate the shutdown of a critical process using a command signal sent from the data acquisition system to a PLC. This command signal will be issued when real-time processing determines that the trigger condition has been met; that is, when the system has detected a seismic event with a pre-established amplitude. The detection method consists of the arrival of the primary waves and the calculation of the amplitude; for which the STA/LTA algorithm is used, which is a method based on energy comparisons through time windows and the second through the instrumental response of the sensor. The data processing is carried out in the background using the scientific language Python (using the Obspy seismic processing library) and the presentation in the JavaScript web interface where the waveforms are displayed in real time and the results of the calculations.
