The present work focuses on evaluating the best alternative to be financially sustainable, a problem faced by Club La Cantera and many other women's football clubs. A thorough analysis of background information has allowed us to properly identify the problem and, therefore, establish the correct alternatives to provide a solution to the problem. The research results indicate that developing a commercial and marketing area is the appropriate alternative for Club La Cantera. This alternative will allow the club to address the lack of resources from external financing, as well as achieve the club's three main objectives: Financial, Commercial and Marketing, and Sports. The paper also discusses the implications of the alternative, including operational, administrative, financial, and other relevant implications. In short, this work provides a comprehensive view of a problem that affects Club La Cantera and much of women's football, as well as providing an appropriate alternative solution. The findings and recommendations presented here can serve as a guide for other women's football clubs, and other sports that are affected by a similar problem.
