In the following document, a small Peruvian company in the manufacturing sector is taken under study, which we will call “VDZ”, which presents problems in its footwear manufacturing processes, which do not allow a correct optimization of its resources and, consequently, it generates manufacturing waste and reduces the footwear production. To achieve the solution of this problem, an initial diagnosis of the company's manufacturing processes is carried out, focusing mainly on the line of men's dress shoes, to later begin with the application of a proposed lean kanban model. This proposed lean kanban model consists of three central stages after the diagnosis, where a comparison is made, after the corresponding implementations, of the sketch and data of the Route Diagram where the optimization of workstations is shown to reduce the meters traveled of the collaborators, application of 5'S for the organization and order of materials and workspace where unnecessary elements are reduced, and application of Kanban where the necessary activity and manufacturing parameters are defined and standardized; which allow generating improvements to the different established processes. Finally, we can determine that the lean kanban model, applying different lean manufacturing techniques, generates significant improvements for a small or medium-sized company that needs to apply viable solutions at a low cost.
