The main objective of the thesis to be presented is to carry out the nonlinear pushover analysis of the Chiclayo hospital in order to determine the performance of the building, which consists of structural walls with reinforced concrete plates and frames against a frequent, severe and maximum earthquake. . The first thing to do was review the plans according to the building file, to then be able to carry out the three-dimensional modeling in the Etabs v.21 software, respecting the plans, properties of each structural element and materials that were used in the building. Likewise, it must be verified that the building complies with Peruvian technical standards, among them we have standards E.020 (Loads), E.030 (Severe earthquake-resistant) and E.060 (Reinforced Concrete). From this it was obtained that the building does not present any irregularity, neither in height nor in floor. To determine the nonlinearity of the structural elements of the building, plastic hinges were assigned following the acceptance criteria of the ASCE/SEI 41-17 standard. For the pushover analysis, the FEMA 440 and ATC – 40 methodologies were used, to evaluate the performance of the building, the capacity spectrum methodology (ATC – 40) was used, resulting in good performance for a frequent, severe and maximum earthquake. . Also, it was evaluated for a maximum earthquake considered according to Standard E.031 (Seismic Isolation), obtaining favorable results in its shear for the building. In conclusion, the Chiclayo hospital showed good performance against the different earthquakes applied.
