This sufficiency project was developed as an alternative for improvement in medium and small organizations dedicated to the food sector. This sector, being highly volatile, produces inconveniences and management difficulties at the time of executing its operations. This case study covers the problem of non-fulfillment of orders in a Peruvian coffee processing company. This problem is causally related to high downtimes in the production system, as well as unproductive times, and deficiencies in the periodic calculation of the purchase plan requirement of the materials necessary for its manufacture. For this reason, an improvement approach was proposed for this project based on the implementation of a Material Requirement Plan MRP with an Inventory Management System, as well as the use of BPM and TPM tools with the Planned Maintenance approach to increase the level of order fulfillment in the organization, thus, an increase of this value by 10.26 % was achieved as a result of the implementation of improvements. Therefore, we conclude that it is recommended to effectively implement the above mentioned tools to ensure the increase of orders fulfilled and achieve medium-term benefits.
