Currently, the installation of medical equipment in infrastructure projects presents significant challenges due to the interdisciplinary nature of planning, budget and time constraints, as well as the need to comply with rigorous regulations. To address these difficulties, this research has developed a work plan that incorporates the PDCA methodology (Plan, Do, Check, Act). Using the Stand Alone project in La Molina - Clínica Internacional as a reference, the main objective of this research is to improve the planning of medical equipment installation activities, leveraging the principles of continuous improvement present in the PDCA methodology. This work plan is a valuable tool proposed for use in future projects. The PDCA methodology has been applied to identify and address critical issues in planning, including interdisciplinary complexity, budget and timeline management, regulatory compliance, and the need for flexibility. However, it is essential to understand that this plan is not a static solution but a dynamic process in constant evolution. It must be regularly updated to ensure continuous improvements in the planning of medical infrastructure projects. The implementation of this methodology aims not only to overcome the previously mentioned challenges but also to optimize planning for an efficient and effective project delivery in the healthcare sector. This summary provides a brief introduction to the challenges of medical equipment installation, with specific reference to the Stand Alone project at La Molina - Clínica Internacional in the first sentence, and succinctly presents the objectives and applicability of the PDCA methodology in the development of a work plan.
