The risk of a project is an event or uncertain condition that, if it occurs, has a positive or negative effect on one or more of the project's objectives; therefore, it is essential to identify and adequately manage the risks that arise in the various aspects of a project, particularly those related to factors such as scope, cost, and time. In this sense, this research has been developed with the purpose of identifying and carrying out a qualitative analysis of the negative risks of greater incidence in the execution of educational infrastructure in rural areas, taking as reference three projects executed in rural areas of the department of Ayacucho, as well as establishing a response plan for each of the identified risks and grouping all this information in a risk management matrix that serves for a registry of risks of greater incidence in educational infrastructure projects in rural areas of Peru. In such a way that this research contributes to reaffirm good practices and alert of those negative risks as a check list in order to avoid work stoppages, cost overruns, among others, as well as to ensure compliance with the project's objectives. The research has been developed in four chapters, the first one comprises the approach of the study, in which the formulation of the problem and justification of the study are developed, the objectives are mentioned, and the limitations of the study are established. The second chapter develops the conceptual theoretical framework, the third chapter presents the research methodology, and the fourth chapter deals with the analysis and presentation of the results. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations are presented, as well as the bibliography consulted and the annexes.
